The rich history and beauty of the Cote d'azur,
Provence has been recorded for centuries by the writers and
artists who have made 'The Riviera' their homes, many of these
stunning houses and gardens, are now open to the public and
make an enjoyable day out for all the family. Many celebrities
and royalty still live in the region today due to its accessibility
to Europe and the rest of the world, its great climate and
its evident 'joie de vivre'.
We are situated midway (25minutes to each) between' tres-chic'
Cannes
with its world famous film festival, and its more cultural
and bohemian
sister Nice with its roman history, opera and ballet. We are
45minutes
from Monaco and 1 hour from Italy.
The property nestles peacefully in the hills, amongst the
forests and
ancient hill villages of the meditteranean.
Provencal culture and traditions still exist in this area
with many of
the local population still reliant on their income from grapes,
flowers
or olives. The local markets are a delight to shop in, you
will taste,
touch and smell the produce, which is of the highest quality,
for food
is taken very seriously here.
There are festivals throughout the year to celebrate truffles,
lemons,
olives and mimosa which all grow locally.
The property has been tastefully and comfortably furnished
with many
antiques and furniture from around the world, and is large
enough to
find privacy even when in a large group .It has a relaxed
atmosphere
which is great for groups of friends, business colleagues
or families.
Staff can be provided by arrangement, including maid, cleaner,
cook,
chauffeur, nanny, secretary and bodyguard.
All the comfortable guest rooms have their own bathrooms and
direct
access to the gardens and/or terraces.
Large beautiful landscaped gardens offer magnificent views
of the
surrounding countryside and plenty of quiet corners.
This is the perfect location to experience all the region
has to offer,
in addition to appreciating the magnificent landscapes which
drape the
elegant shoulders of the famous Cote d'azur.
There are also many sporting and cultural events which take
place along
the coast. See our Other
Activities page for details.

Read what our previous guests have said about Azur Holidays...
"I had a truly wonderful holiday, staying
on for a further few days on a B&B basis because I could not
drag myself away. The bastide and acommodation are wonderful,
Mac and Laura were such warm and friendly hosts. The location
was sensational and I will never forget the balmy evenings
sitting round the dinner table on the terrace and watching
a carpet of fire flies drift across the garden. I'll definitely
be paying another visit."
Janet Johnson, 2004
