CHEZ NOUS

Le mas Casteunou nestles in the peace of the foothills of the Cote D'azur amongst acres of national parkland, a million miles away from the hustle and bustle of daily life and yet, only 25 minutes from the vibrant coastal cities of Nice and Cannes.

The house has been imaginatively restored whilst retaining its traditional Provencal architecture and is tastefully and comfortably furnished with an eclectic mix of antique and modern pieces which offer an informal and relaxed atmosphere in which to stay.

THE GUEST ROOMS

The six comfortable guest rooms are furnished with antique French furniture, have modern en-suite facilities and direct access to private terraces, which overlook the mature landscaped gardens and ancient olive groves which have been harvested here since Roman times.

Large palm fringed terraces surround the house, offering sun and shade at different times of the day and there is a comfortably furnished covered terrace adjacent to the swimming pool with TV and DVD player.

ADDITIONAL DETAIL

Sleeps 12-14 people with 6 en suite bedrooms (5 double/twin plus one quad family room). There is also a separate stone guest cottage with its own private pool available in grounds (Sleeps 6).

A 50sq m double height living room offering SKY SatelliteTV, Video/DVD/Dolby surround sound with CD player.

The fully equipped modern kitchen is fitted with granite worktops, professional stainless steel range style cooker, dishwasher and an American fridge/freezer with ice maker and water dispenser. There is a separate laundry room with a 2nd fridge freezer, washing machine and drier.

In addition, there is a telephone with ADSL, full central heating and a cleaner. A maid service is provided twice a week, a gardener/Guardien once/twice a week and pool maintenance once/twice a week. (Between April and October)

LINEN

All house hold linen is included in the price of the property. We provide pool towels but ask that you bring your own beach towels.

The gardens conceal many quiet corners to sketch or read or simply take in the incredible landscape, for Le mas Casteunou has one of the most beautiful and far reaching views of the entire region, overlooking the Loup valley, the Gorge du loup, and the mediaeval hill-top villages which surround this unique home.
